Privacy Policy

Quick Macro · Last updated 22 June 2026

Quick Macro does not collect any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.

What stays on your device

The snippets and categories you create are stored only on your device - in the app's storage and a shared App Group container so the keyboard can read them. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to turn on iCloud Sync.

iCloud sync (optional, off by default)

If you turn on iCloud Sync, your snippets are synchronized across your own devices using Apple iCloud (CloudKit) in your private iCloud database. This data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. The developer has no servers, never receives your data, and cannot access it. To sync changes, the app uses Apple’s silent push notifications, which carry no personal data - they only signal that an update is available.

The keyboard

The keyboard reads your snippets from the shared App Group container only. It does not request "Allow Full Access" and requires no network access.

No third parties

Quick Macro contains no analytics or usage tracking, no advertising or ad identifiers, and no third-party SDKs. No data is sold or shared with anyone - it's built entirely with Apple frameworks.

Children

The app is safe for all ages. Because it collects no data, it collects nothing from children either.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
